Bringing a princess to your party adds unforgettable magicābut making the experience smooth, fun, and stress-free takes a bit of planning. Hereās what to consider to make your princess party truly royal!
1. š Choose the Right Venue
Where you host your party plays a huge role in your performerās comfort and your guestsā enjoyment.
Outdoor Parties: Rain, snow, or high heat can be tough on our performersāespecially those in layered gowns, gloves, and wigs. Cold weather can lead to uncomfortable guests and chilly princesses, while summer heat can quickly become overwhelming in heavy costumes. Whenever possible, opt for indoor or shaded, well-ventilated areas.
Messy Venues: Be mindful of venues that involve lots of mud, food messes, or waterācostume damage can be costly and may limit how much time the character can spend fully immersed in the experience.
2. š Dress to Impress (and Be Practical!)
Many of our characters have multiple outfit options (like formal gowns or more active outfits for dancing and games). When you book, let us know the venue type, weather plans, and activity level so we can help you pick the perfect look for your princess!
3. š Space Matters
Our characters lead interactive games, storytelling, sing-alongs, and dancingāso youāll want a clear, open space for kids to gather. Avoid setting up in cramped living rooms or loud public areas where itās hard to engage everyone.
If indoors, a quiet room with room for movement is ideal. If outdoors, make sure the area is level, shaded if sunny, and free of distractions.
4. š¤ Minimize Conflicting Entertainment
While multiple forms of entertainment can make a party exciting, too many things happening at once (like a loud bouncy castle or an open play area) may make it tough for our princesses to hold the childrenās attention.
Try to schedule time where the character is the main focusāguests will get the most out of it, and the magic feels more real!
5. ā° Plan for Focused Fun
If youāre inviting a large group, consider booking extra time or a second character to ensure every child gets time to interact, take photos, and enjoy the activities.
6. š Double-Check with the Venue
Some venues require approval for outside entertainment or have restrictions around character visits. Be sure to ask in advance if characters are allowed and whether they provide suitable space and seating.
